Livingston Parish Target Industries

Livingston Parish contributes to the I-12 Alliance region, industrially, by offering a superior suburban quality of life, excellent retail opportunities, proximity to Baton Rouge and its many amenities, modern office and industrial parks, inexpensive housing, and an available and affordable workforce.

Livingston is an excellent location for companies that manufacture and distribute material supplies such as wood, paper, concrete, fabricated metal products, and other suppliers of building materials, other types of manufacturing, and warehousing and distribution industries.

Furthermore, in late 2007, St Tammany Parish, in collaboration with all groups of the I-12 Alliance, embarked in 3rd party research to determine the region and the parish’s primary assets directly related to the community’s place in the global economy and the strategic growth already poised for prosperity.
