The parishes of the I-12 Alliance offer excellent access to health care for the region’s residents. There is access to hospitals and physicians in both Baton Rouge and New Orleans, as well as state-of-the-art facilities in communities throughout the five parishes.

The region is home to St. Tammany Parish Hospital, Slidell Memorial Hospital, Northshore Regional Medical Center, Louisiana Heart Hospital, Ochsner Health Systems, North Oaks Health System, St. Helena Parish Hospital, St. Helena Parish Clinic, as well as firms providing home health care services for residents who cannot travel.

The region is also home to a growing number of retirement communities, including Christwood, the Windsor Senior Living Community, Southerland Place, Heritage Manor, and St. Helena Parish Nursing Home.
